    At The Inner Shifts, we not only offer both — we thoughtfully fuse them together. This integrated approach allows for deeper insight and practical momentum, creating a more complete and effective experience for personal growth and emotional clarity.

  • That depends on your goals and your pace. Some people find clarity in just a few sessions, while others choose to continue for deeper exploration and integration. On average, many clients benefit from around three sessions to begin seeing meaningful shifts — but there are no fixed rules. We’ll move at a rhythm that feels supportive and right for you.

  • We recommend face-to-face sessions whenever possible, as so much of our work relies on presence — reading subtle cues like body language, tone, and facial expressions that may not fully come through online.

    However, we understand that virtual sessions may sometimes be the only option. If that’s the case, we’re open to it — with a few clear agreements to ensure the space stays focused, safe, and effective.

  • Yes. Confidentiality, respect, and emotional safety are at the heart of what we offer. Whether you’re sharing a struggle or a quiet hope, you’ll be met with compassion, not judgment.

  • Of course. We believe that rapport is key to meaningful work — if you'd like to try a different coach or counsellor in our team, we fully support that choice.

  • The preliminary session is a space to get to know each other — no pressure, no expectations. It’s a chance for you to see if the coach or counsellor feels like the right fit for you, and for us to better understand what’s been on your mind.

    More than anything, this session is about honest reflection: Are you ready for change? Are we the right space to support that? Your openness, readiness, and willingness to grow all matter — and we’ll move forward only if it feels right for you.
